Companies at CHEMPARK

PolyMaterials AG was founded in 1999 in Kaufbeuren and has since established itself as a professional service provider in the area of research and development in the plastics sector. Following the expansion of its R&D resources to cover monomer and polymer production through the founding of a plant at CHEMPARK Leverkusen, polyMaterials now has a complete process chain from the material concept right through to the finished product. In addition to providing synthesis services at CHEMPARK, the company now wishes to offer more R&D in the area of structural polymers and plastics formulations.  At present, the company’s main clients are companies from the plastics and chemical industries, the automotive sector, the electrical and electronics sector and the medical sector. Its research areas include fuel cell membranes, polymer electrolytes, energy storage, mechanical and electronic components, plastics applications in medicine and compound development.
