Container cleaning: Full steam ahead for drums and large containers
The cleaning process for large containers in Leverkusen is precisely tailored to the type of container/chemical residue and ranges from washing with water or detergent through to spraying with water at a range of different pressures (5 to 2,000 bar) or evaporation processes and drying. A thorough final control rounds off the comprehensive cleaning program.
At our cleaning plant the wastewater and cleaning agents are safely fed into our own treatment and incineration plants, again ensuring environmentally sound disposal. This also applies to any residue from containers that need to be emptied prior to cleaning.
