Final Report "Biogas from sewage sludge"

A total of 20,000 metric tons of de-watered sewage sludge that is produced every year from the biological treatment of wastewater from chemical processes could be used for the generation of biogas in the Leverkusen Waste Management Center. This is the result of a two-year project that was financed by the European Union within its LIFE program.
