Safe plants and equipment are a prerequisite for successful production. For this reason, we regard safety – particularly in the chemical/pharmaceutical segment – as our core competency. Our experienced engineers and state-of-the-art laboratories help to ensure that the plants and processes at the CHEMPARK and at our many other sites throughout the world operate with maximum safety at all times.
Identify hazards …
For new substances and new chemical processes, our experts determine and evaluate the necessary safety data. This enables potential risks to be identified at the product/process development stage. In addition, we supply data for GLP studies, safety data sheets and classifications according to the transport and explosives legislation. Thanks to the professional facilities in our laboratories (which are certified to DIN EN ISO 17025), we operate quickly and efficiently at all times.

We perform safety appraisals and hazard evaluations for your laboratories, technical service centers and production plants. We design adequate protection concepts, ranging from the full control of chemical processes and wide-ranging explosion protection – including electrostatics – to the design of technical safety systems.
Safety documentation
Production plants are not allowed to operate if they cannot provide proof of adequate safety concepts. For this reason, we ensure that the safety appraisals and hazard evaluations we perform are fully documented, also, for example, in the 'explosion protection' document. For your permit documents and the safety report, we also carry out an evaluation of the potential effects of the release of toxic and combustible substances in the event of a malfunction.
Knowledge of technical legislation and its practical implementation
With our assistance, you will be right up to date as far as technical legislation is concerned, because we are actively involved in the legislative bodies ourselves. We are an acknowledged partner for the authorities and can ensure that your solutions comply fully with the relevant laws.
