CURRENTA fire technology accreditations

Accreditation to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025

International recognition: CURRENTA’s Fire Technology Department is a testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 by DAkkS. The accredited test procedures are specified in the annex to the certificate and cover national, European and international fire test methods for the transportation sector (rail, road, air, sea) and for the construction, electrical and consumer goods industries. Under the MRA-agreement – ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) – these testing services are recognized in all ILAC-member states (e.g. Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States).

IMO recognition

CURRENTA’s Fire Technology Department is recognized by the Federal Republic of Germany and registered with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) as a testing laboratory for the fire testing of ship materials and components according to IMO 2010 FTP Code.

RECOGNITION AS ASSESSOR BY THE FEDERAL RAILWAY AUTHORITY

Dr. Julian Bulk is recognized assessor for vehicles in the fields of “Fire safety, Evacuation, Rescue” by the Federal Railway Authority.

CURRENTA’s Fire Technology Department is registered with the German Federal Railways Authority (EBA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
