Expert reports on the fire performance of products
The fire performance of a product depends on a large number of parameters that are interactive in some cases. Ignitability, flame spread, dripping behavior, heat release and smoke and toxic gas production are determined by environmental factors (thermal and ventilation conditions etc.) as well as a product's chemical and physical properties.
Standardized fire performance classifications of products are based on test procedures that typically only reproduce a particular exposure condition. For specific product applications, these blanket assessment methods by themselves do not result in assessments that reflect the risks involved.
We can investigate and assess the fire properties of your product, taking into account the actual conditions.
